The MET Miles Road Helmet (MIPS), with its streamlined and protective design, is equally at home on e-bike commutes, leisure road rides and two-wheeled forays off the beaten track. Safety comes by the way of its in-mould polycarbonate shell and EPS foam liner. The EPS foam provides exceptional shock absorption in the event of a head impact, soaking up the forces that would otherwise lead to head injuries. 

The shock-absorbing core is wrapped in a tough and durable polycarbonate shell, ensuring those minor knocks and scrapes of riding are easily dealt with. Perfect for a cycle helmet that will get regular use. 

MIPS-C2® (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) 

The Mips system is designed to provide added safety for helmets in many accidents. For certain impacts, the Mips system can reduce harmful rotational motion that might otherwise be transferred to the user’s head.

Rotational motion is a common cause of concussions in oblique hits to the head. In a crash, the Mips system is designed to move slightly inside the helmet to help redirect forces away from the head.

Cool Airflow

Once you’re on your bike and up to speed, cool, fresh air can flow inside via the copious quantity of vents, 17 in total. This fresh air flows through carefully shaped channels on the inside, keeping you cooler, while damp air is pushed out of rear exhaust vents. The comfort pads, as the name suggests, also add comfort. They’re quick to wick sweat off the skin to keep you drier. And being hand-washable, you can always enjoy a fresh feel.

Safe-T Twist 2 Fit System

A great fitting helmet is also a safer helmet, and here the Safe-T Twist 2 Fit System makes it easy to get a comfortable and secure fit, every time you ride. A rear twist dial lets you customise the fit and the 360-degree head belt gives a secure fit with no pressure points.
