Reactive, Lightweight, Strong & Aerodynamic

Built up using a R010, CNC machined 6061 hub and DT Swiss straight pull spokes, the Prime BlackEdition 60 is stiffer and more reactive, while for the weight-conscious rider, it has a greater strength to weight ratio, saving you precious grams. Rim wise, the combination of a 60mm depth and 27.5mm width makes for a more streamlined and aerodynamic ride as the wider profile gives a more linear contour with the tyre.

Lightweight Option

Since the release of the original BlackEdition range in 2018, Prime have been working hard behind the scenes with Vitus Pro Cycling in search of the marginal gains that could help them in some of the UK’s biggest races. After experimenting with numerous types of resin and testing countless new lay ups, they finally settled on their new and improved BlackEdition rim. Prime has also upgraded the BlackEdition to a higher grade of carbon, saving weight, and improving on the impact strength/weight ratio making the new BlackEdition their best rim yet.
